German Potato Salad


3 large potato, peeled and cut into bite size
120 g My Choice bacon, cut into 2 cm
1 onion, chopped
¼ cup Water
¼ cup Cooking for Fun white wine vinega
2 tbs Sugar
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste


  1. In pot, bring water and potato to boil until cooked. Strain and keep warm.
  2. In nonstick frying pan on medium heat, sauté bacon until fat render. Add chopped onion and fry until the onion turn golden brown.
  3. Add water, Cooking for Fun white wine vinegar and sugar and stir until mixture boil and sugar is dissolved.
  4. Toss together the boiled potato with the mixture and let the sauce absorb completely. Transfer potato salad in serving dish and garnish with chopped spring onion.
