Cabonara Spaghetti


200 g spaghetti
100 g tops bacon, cut into pieces
1 onion, coarsely chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tbs My Choice honey
10 g butter
1 tbsp Cooking for Fun olive oil
150 ml cream
1 Cooking for Fun egg
60 g Parmesan cheese, grated
bacon bits
salt and pepper to taste


  1. Cook spaghetti in a boiling water with a pinch of salt according to instruction on a pack. when it is well cooked, strain, mix with olive oil, and set aside
  2. Combine cream, egg, 50 g of Parmesan cheese together in a bowl. Stir well; season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat a saucepan over a medium heat. melt butter and add onion to sauteé until fragrant. Fold in bacon to crispy fry and follow with garlic to stir-fry until translucent.
  4. Once garlic turns crispy, combine spaghetti and cream mixture together. turn off the heat immediately. Stir the cream to mix with pasta very quickly. transfer the pasta to a plate. Sprinkle with the rest of Parmesan cheese and bacon bits. ready to serve.
