Stir-Fried Pork with Honey and Ginger


½ tsp sesame oil
1 tbs tops honey
1 tbs tops soy sauce
1 tbs shao hsing wine
1 tbs ginger, finely chopped
2 tsp oyster sauce
1 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tsp five-spice powder
300 g pork loin, thinly sliced
1 tbs tapioca flour
2 tbs vegetable oil
80 g onion, diced
1 spring onion, cut into 10cm. long
2 tsp vinegar
2 tsp tops soy sauce
1 tbs chicken stock


  1. In mixing bowl, mix together all marinade ingredients and keep in refrigerator for about 30 minutes or overnight.
  2. Heat oil in a hot deep frying pan, stir-fry the marinated pork for 30 second then add onion, spring onion, vinegar, soy sauce and chicken stock. Stir fry until the pork is just cooked. transfer on the plate serve.
