Chicken Sanwiches
Ingredients
2 | chicken breasts |
1 tsp | Cooking for Fun paprika |
1 | Cooking for Fun egg |
½ cup | milk |
1 cup | all purpose flour |
1 tbsp + 1 tsp | sugar |
¼ tsb | baking soda |
¼ | mustard powder |
4 slices | sandwich bread,cut in half |
1 tbsp | unsalted butter |
1 | cucumber, sliced |
2 | tomato, sliced |
1 pack | salad mix |
salt and pepper to season | |
vegetable oil | |
mayonnaise | |
tomato sauce |
Method
- Cut chicken breast diagonally. Place plastic bag on top of the chicken breasts and pound them to be 1/8 inch thick. Season the breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat saucepan over medium heat. Pour in the oil to deep-fry the chicken and wait until the heat reaches 162˚C Meanwhile, mix together egg, milk and water in a large bowl. In another bowl, mix together all purpose flour, sugar, baking soda, mustard, ½ teaspoon paprika, salt and pepper
- Coat chicken breasts with egg mixture then with flour mixture; lightly shake to remove the excess of flour. Bring them to fry until they are golden brown or about 4 minutes.
- Toast the bread and cut it in half into triangle pieces. Spread butter on both sides of the toasts, Put cucumber, tomatoes or any vegetables. Put chicken, ketchup or mayonnaise and top with the other slice of the bread. Ready to serve.
