|550 g||minced beef sirloin|
|¼ cup||brown sugar|
|1 tbs||steak seasoning powder|
|1||chopped red bell pepper|
|1 tbs||red wine vinegar|
|1 tbs||worcestershire sauce|
|2 cups||My Choice tomato sauce|
|2 tbs||concentrated tomato paste|
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add in the beef and stir to separate the meat. season with brown sugar and steak seasoning. Brown the beef, then add in onion and bell pepper.
- Reduce the heat to medium and continue to sauté until the onion and bell pepper are cooked. then add red wine vinegar and worcestershire sauce. sauté for another 5 minutes before adding in the tomato sauce and paste. reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes until thickened. set aside.
- Toast the burger buns. spoon the mixture onto the buns and close the sandwich with the top buns. serve with a side of salad.
