Macaroni cheese

Ingredients

150 g Macaroni
30 g Butter
30 g All purpose flour
1 Baby leaf
700 ml Milk
¼ tsp Ground nutmeg
50 g True Organic Gouda Cheese, grated
50 g True Organic Cheddar Cheese, grated
50 g True Organic Mozzarella Cheese, grated
50 g True Organic Edam Cheese, grated

Method

  1. Boil macaroni in salted boiling water by follow direction on the package.
  2. Heat butter in saucepan until melted, stir in flour until well mixed and bubbling. Gradually whisk in milk and stir until sauce is thick and boiling. Stir in half amount of cheese until the cheese is melted. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Remove from the heat. Combine in cooked macaroni with cheese sauce and put in oven proved dish.
  3. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and put under hot broiler until the top is golden brown. Serve immediately.
